How the scheduled visit works

Send us a description and, ideally, a photo of the window, door or corroded hardware, and we will quote a slot. We carry corrosion-resistant rollers, handles, hinges and seals suited to coastal conditions, along with the common parts for the aluminium systems used across RAK — most repairs finish on the first visit despite the distance. The fixed quote comes before any work.

The seaward face takes the damage

The building stock is low and spread out: two-storey villas, townhouse rows and resort blocks, most with wide glazed elevations facing the water. Onshore wind carries salt spray onto the seaward face day after day, and it settles first on the parts that move — roller bearings, hinge pins and lock cams — long before the frame shows anything. Beach sand blows into the bottom tracks, and unshaded seals bake in the sun until they go hard.

Access and timing for a RAK visit

  1. Register the visit ahead

    At the gated communities of Al Hamra Village and Mina Al Arab, security or the management office wants the visit registered in advance — tell us the name on the booking and we will send vehicle and ID details across. At villas we just need the gate opened and space to park.

  2. Mornings before the coastal heat

    Outdoor and balcony work goes better early, before the coastal heat builds; anything noisy stays in daytime hours in shared blocks. If a sealed glass unit has to travel up to a resort apartment, the lift is booked with the building separately.

  3. Price agreed on the spot

    The visit opens with measuring, and the price is fixed and agreed on the spot before a tool is picked up. The 2-year warranty covers it all.
