A chip rarely stays a chip. The heat keeps working on the edge, and the line travels until it has crossed the whole pane.
Fog between the panes is not dirt on the surface. The seal has given up, the moisture is shut inside the unit, and no amount of wiping will reach it.
A glazier comes out, takes the sizes and tells you what actually failed. More often than not that is the pane alone, while the frame and the hardware stay where they are.
We carry standard sizes with us, so an ordinary pane rarely needs more than one visit. The old glass leaves with us and we clean up after ourselves.

Why glass fails, and what we do about it
A crack, a chip or a misted pane rarely means the whole window is finished
The heat plays its part here. A small chip left alone keeps spreading across the pane under the Dubai sun, and thermal stress can crack glass that nothing ever struck. The rest is impact: a slammed door, a stone thrown up by a mower.
Misting is a different failure. Once a sealed unit loses its seal, damp works its way between the panes and settles there, which is why a cloth changes nothing: the water sits where you cannot reach it. What gets replaced is the unit; a sound frame stays where it is.
Not every mark means new glass. A shallow surface scratch can sometimes be polished away, a deep one cannot. We tell you which one you have while we are standing at the window, and the measure itself costs nothing.
Some openings have to take safety glass under UAE regulations: balcony doors, low glazing, shower screens. Toughened glass breaks down into blunt granules, not sharp splinters, while laminated glass holds together and shuts out more sound. We fit whichever the opening calls for, in aluminium, uPVC and wooden frames.
We change what failed and leave the sound parts alone. Replacing one pane stays a one-pane job, and the fixed price you are given at the measure is the price at the end.

How we replace glass, from the first look to the last seal
Diagnose what actually failed, match the glass to the opening, fit it so the window works again
It starts with reading the damage, not quoting it blind. Our glazier checks whether the pane went from a knock or from heat stress, whether misting means the sealed unit has given up, whether a scratch is shallow enough to polish out, and how the frame and hardware are holding. The visit and the estimate cost nothing, and you hear the fixed price before a tool comes out.
Then we match the replacement to the opening itself. Type and thickness are confirmed on the spot: toughened where the rules ask for it, laminated where security and quiet matter, tinted or reflective against the sun and glare, frosted where you want privacy, or a sealed unit built to your exact measurements. All of it goes into aluminium, uPVC and wooden frames.
The fitting itself goes quietly. We take the old pane out safely, clear the rebate, set the new glass on fresh beading and seals, carry the shards away with us and leave no trace of the job behind. Standard sizes travel with the team and are cut on site, so a single pane is often closed in one visit, while a made-to-measure unit arrives on an agreed second one. A smashed opening can be boarded the same day if it needs closing before the glass arrives.

It depends on the glass type, thickness and size. A standard single pane is the cheapest; tempered, laminated and sealed double-glazed units cost more because of the material and made-to-measure cutting. We measure and give a fixed quote free, before starting.

Yes, and that is usually what we recommend. If the frame and hardware are sound, replacing the glass alone is far cheaper than a new window. We only suggest a full replacement when the frame itself is beyond repair.

We keep common glass sizes in stock and cut to fit, so most single-pane jobs are done in one visit. Sealed double-glazed units are made to your exact measurements and fitted on the return. Most of the tower glazing we handle sits in Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai and Business Bay.
Clear float / annealed glass
For standard interior windows and cabinets.
Tempered (toughened) safety glass
For balcony doors, low windows, shower screens and anywhere UAE regulations require it. It breaks into blunt granules instead of shards.
Laminated glass
For security and noise. It holds together when broken and blocks more sound, which also makes it a soundproofing upgrade.
Double-glazed sealed units
