The check happens at the window, not over the phone. The technician runs the sash through its full travel, feels the rollers or hinges, tries the lock and follows the seal line for gaps.
Then the part is chosen. Aluminium systems here are not all the same, so a replacement has to suit the system and hold up against dust and salt air, not merely fit the opening.
You hear the sum and the plan before a screwdriver comes out. The common wear parts travel with the technician — rollers, hinges, handles, seals — so most windows are working again on that first visit.
Glass cut to your opening, and gear that suits only one system, we order in and bring back on a second, shorter visit — at the sum you already agreed.

After the last sandstorm, I noticed fine sand on the windowsill even though no one had opened the kitchen windows. The technician explained that the rubber seals had hardened from the heat and lost their elasticity. Replaced them with new ones, and now even after sandstorms, the sills stay clean. The apartment is in Dubai Marina.
